Weekend Vote Petition



Support the petition for Weekend Voting for the forthcoming General Election.

  • I signed it also and sent it to a few people. I must say though I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of canvasing from FG in Annacotty/Castleconnell Area. I know my gran Aunt is out most nights in Shannon doing it out there. I've had numerous FF and Labour folks around and greens, but only one FG candidate. Shame. Hopefully with the extra daylight we shall see more.

  • I think there has been some voter strategy at play there as I don't expect to see Nonan in Annacotty/Castleconnell and likewise for O'Donnell in Dooradoyle/Mungret. But you're right and I'll happy pass the kick up the arse along!

  • I'd be happy to seen Noonan, O'Donnell even Mary Jackman around, all I keep getting is Noreen Ryan who drives around here and chats to folks in the shops or walking around Annacotty. I'm quite shocked at this stage with FG and their lack of canvassing in this area.

    I know in Shannon and in other parts of Limerick they are out every night. Do they not think they need to get votes here. There are many topics being raised around here and they could do well with stopping by for a wee chat :)

    I shall stop ranting now....
