Tag you're it!

noirin tagged me. Here are five things you probably didn't know about me and then the next five unfortunate victims who I've tagged.
  • I have a twin, Tony - it's surpising how many people meet him in town or wave at him across the street and when he doesn't wave back, they all get very annoyed with me the next time I see them!
  • I started in UL in 1996, doing Computer Systems.
  • I was chair of the YFG branch in UL and I've also been vice-chair for Limerick East.
  • My PhD is on the understanding of concurrent auditory icons.
  • I'm one of the two Irish delegates for the COST Action IC0601 on Sonic Interaction Design (SID).

My five taggies are:
Danny
Mike
Mikael
Mark (cheez)
Conal (zoney)

New company requirements for Irish companies regarding websites and emails

ODCE-I:2007:2

The Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement has issued an Information Notice, I/2007/2 which details the new disclosure requirements for companies on their websites and in their electronic communications. This applies to all Irish companies, which means that if you're maintaining either websites or email services for people that you'll have to update both to take these new legal requirements into account.

Passed the Cisco Intro - barely but passed

Took the 640-821 Introduction to Cisco Networking Technologies Exam and managed to pass it (barely - damn simulator questions!) with 833 out of 1000 where the passing grade was 825. Happy Days and onwards to the 640-811 Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Exam and I've also been thinking about doing the 640-861 Designing for Cisco Internetwork Solutions Exam.
